WebIrish Americans are an offshoot like all other diasporas. What I mean by carry on Irish traditions, is immigrants don't completely abandon who they are when they move to a new place. But carry on their music, dance, food, names, etc, which evolves into something new. Because obviously, the culture in Ireland continued to evolve too. WebIreland and the Irish were used to develop policies for British colonial pra ctice. When Britain lost the colonies they conquered India and made their way to Australia and Africa.
