WebApr 25, 2011 · I'm looking to buy a dedicated jigsaw for the coping foot, but apparently all jigsaws aren't created equal. I know the top handles don't work and it won't fit the Bosch MODEL 1591EVSL . I researched it on this forum and found a post from Joe Adams stating: I recently emailed Collins about this same issue. Their response was as follows: Webhanding jigsaw, clamp the stock to the bench and go slowly at first using both hands on the saw for control and for personal protection. Although the Coping Foot can be installed on many battery powered saws, they are not recommended for the simple reason that battery powered tools can not be locked on.
